Residency program UA Nest for human rights defenders and civil society activists from Ukraine

Short-term residency in Berlin is a possibility of short-term psychological and physical rehabilitation for leaders of the human rights sector in Ukraine as well as their networking with local activists and international organizations; amplification of Ukrainian voice in the informational field of Germany.
Our residents are human rights defenders, journalists and other human rights activists including lawyers, artists, and cultural figures promoting human rights messages, with significant work experience, who currently work and stay in Ukraine and need a short-term psychological and physical rehabilitation.

The selection comes strictly through referral from a closed advisory of human rights professionals from Ukraine, not through open application.
Program and schedule of residence staying is individual according to the resident’s needs and requests.
